Problem

This company was interested in exploring the possibility of developing a taxi driver planning system as an aid to decision making. Researchers have implemented several mathematical models for the taxi drivers’ planning problem, which consists in assigning drivers to vehicles and work shifts during the different periods in a week, such that the demand is satisfied and the smaller number of drivers is needed. Several features and constraints must be considered to obtain a valid solution for the company.

This project was conducted in 2018. Funding came from Job and Talent.
