Miquel graduated in Business Administration and later in Economics, both at UPF.
He worked in the quantitative consulting industry for three years, mainly focused on market research projects across several industries. Then he obtained the MSc in DS at BSE, followed by an MRes at UPF. Currently, he’s about to finish his PhD, under the supervision of Prof. D. Rossell and Prof. O. Papaspiliopoulos, working in high-dimensional inference problems, with a focus on treatment effect estimation.
His main research interests relate to the application of statistical learning methods to life and health sciences.
