Javier Mas is a Senior Data Scientist at Glovo, where he works in the team in charge of forecasting demand and allocating the optimal number of couriers. Previously, he worked for Telefónica Innovation Alpha, on projects related to the healthcare and energy sectors. In the past, he’s also done research on computer vision and NLP for Barcelona GSE and taught at bootcamp courses on machine learning.
He loves working in the intersection between machine learning, engineering and projects with social impact. Coming from the domains of law and political science, he transitioned into data science through the BSE’s Master’s Degree in Data Science, in his search for data-driven approaches to decision making.
