Clement Gorin

PhD, University of Lyon


Clement Gorin currently work at CNRS and ENS de Lyon in the field of quantitative spatial economics. His research and teachings revolve around the application of GIS and statistical learning to applied economic analysis. Specifically, his current projects make use of machine learning and image processing to extract land-use information from various collections of historical maps, in order to document and analyze the evolution of urban areas in France over the last 250 years.
